Triathlete-Tracker app for iPhone and iPad

Do you have a family member or a friend doing an Ironman(R) or Ironman(R) 70.3 event?
If so, you probably want show them your support during the race. You may have spent hours alongside the course, waiting for your loved one to bike or run by you -- wondering if you have missed them already, worrying whether they are on track...

Triathlete Tracker saves you worry and waiting time! It estimates when an athlete will be near you, based on your location (not on any pre-determined milestones). Now you can find the best, most convenient viewing spot for you; and you no longer have to spend hours waiting and wondering! The app also provides an estimate of the athletes location on the course map (where available), and a prediction of the finish time of bike / run.

Triathlete Tracker allows you to track multiple athletes at a time. It supports all current Ironman / Ironman 70.3 races (including events outside of North America).

How to use:
1) Create an account on the log-in page the first time you use the app. (We do not use your e-mail or personal info for anything except saving your account settings. We never share it with anyone else.)
2) On the "Tracking" tab, select the race you are interested in, and then search for your athlete. (If the athlete is not found, it may be that the full start list for the event is not available yet -- please check again within 48 hours of the event for an update). You can add more races and athletes via the "Add More" button. You can delete entries via the Delete icon.
3) On the "Spectator" tab, select the race via the "Race" drop-down. Then select the athlete(s) via the "Athlete" drop-down. Specify whether to use your current location for estimates, to use an address, or select the desired location on the map. You can also move this location as needed.
4) The athlete(s) will be shown as colored dots moving along the course map on the "Spectator" tab. If you click on the dot, a pop-up will appear. By pressing the "Predict" button on the pop-up, you will see an estimate of when the athlete will be near your specified location, and an estimated finish time of the particular leg of the race. (In some circumstances, the course maps may not be available -- in that case, a message with an estimate of the athletes distance on the course, and the finish time, is shown.)
